Steps For Science Fair Paper Work

1. Create a google folder using a personal email account. Name the folder '[Last Name]-NWSES' Enable link sharing. Paste the link into this spreadsheet under the column 'Google Folder Link'

2. Put your personal email account used to make the folder in this spreadsheet under the column 'Personal Email'

3. Sign Form 1 (should have been done at club on 12/13). If not email it to bsh.journal.club@gmail.com ASAP.

4. Write a brief research plan (succinct is best). The research plan must include the following:

   • Rationale

   • Research Question

   • Hypothesis

   • Experimental Procedure

   • Data Analysis Procedure

   • Safety Concerns (If you have an unsafe project, you need a Form 3. Email bsh.journal.club@gmail.com if this is the case).

   • Some citations you used/might use.

5. Upload your research plan to your google folder. Copy the specific sharing link for this document and put it in this spreadsheet under the column 'Research Plan Link'

6. Sign Form 1A. Scan this as a PDF and put it in your Google Folder. Put the date it is signed in this spreadsheet under the column 'Form 1A Date'

7. Have Form 1B signed by your parents (required for each member). Leave the SRC information blank. Scan this as a PDF and put it in your Google Folder. Put the date it is signed by each member in this spreadsheet under the column 'Form 1B Date'

8. Complete any other required forms (if you haven't heard from us, don't worry about this step). Scan these forms as a PDF and put it in your Google Folder. Put the date it is signed in this spreadsheet under the column 'Other Forms Date'.

9. We will email you a PDF of your signed Form 1 (you should have given it to Curran or Ms. Bullock at club). Put it in your Google Folder. 

Congrats! This is all the paper work done! We will reach out to you individually with the login information to your science fair portal once we see that the above steps are completed. We will send you the further instructions at that point.
